Residents in community near Aulander can schedule installations

A sizable new segment of the Roanoke Connect fiber optic network is live and ready for home installations just north of Aulander. Smart Grid energy and broadband Internet services are available for Roanoke Connect subscribers in the area along JT Hall Road, Saint John Millennium Road, Hollowell Road and Pine Lane.

Including the latest area, the Roanoke Connect team has activated 12 segments thus far in 2019 (22 segments total since network construction began). Communities where service has been activated this year include those in and around:

·         portions of Halifax County
